03. What is the MOQ for custom LED strip lights, and can I order samples first?
For standard catalog products, the MOQ starts at 100 meters. For custom non-standard COB LED strips or silicone LED flex, the MOQ is typically 200–500 meters depending on specification complexity.
Before committing to bulk production, we strongly recommend ordering prototype samples (5–10 meters). Sample lead time is 5–7 business days after specification confirmation. Sample costs are credited back against your first bulk order. This ensures your project specification is validated before full production begins.
04. What international certifications do NPHIS LED strips carry for the European and North American markets?
All NPHIS LED strip lights carry CE, RoHS, and REACH compliance as standard, with full Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and test reports provided with every shipment.
For the North American market, selected products carry UL and ETL listings. We also provide LM-80 photometric data, TM-21 lumen maintenance projections, and can support custom compliance development for EU ERP Directive, California Title 24, and DLC qualification upon request.
All documentation is available for download or provided in physical form with shipment.

07. What is the real difference between COB LED strips and SMD LED strips for commercial applications?
COB (Chip-on-Board) technology places hundreds of micro LED chips directly onto the PCB in a continuous phosphor-coated line, producing a seamless, dot-free, uniform glow — even in ultra-narrow 3mm profiles. This makes COB the preferred choice for high-end commercial lighting, luxury cabinet illumination, and architectural accent lighting where visual quality is non-negotiable.
Traditional SMD strips use discrete LED packages spaced apart, which creates visible hot spots and a “dotting” effect — particularly problematic in shallow profiles or close-viewing applications.
NPHIS COB strips achieve CRI up to 97, Ra values above 95, and are available in profiles as narrow as 3mm — delivering the premium visual performance demanded by the European and North American
